Christy Mortimer, MS, LCPC
Christy Mortimer received her Bachelor’s degree in psychology from University of Montana and her Master’s degree in marriage and family counseling from Montana State University. She enjoys working with both individuals and couples and has been doing therapy with a diverse clientele for over three years. She is trained in EMDR and is being trained in EFT for couples. Being person-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-focused are her priorities in working with clients. She takes great interest in helping people heal their relationships with themselves, their stories, and their loved ones.
Christy is originally from Helena, Montana and has had the privilege to live in several different cities around the state, as well as in New Zealand. She loves the Bozeman area for its proximity to awesome outdoor recreation. She loves to ride her bike, hike, and camp during the beautiful Bozeman summers. Pottery, hugging animals, sitting in hot springs, traveling, and eating delicious food with loved ones are among her other favorite activities.
