Angelique Coleman, MSW, SWLC
Reaching out for therapy can feel intimidating — I get it. Whether you’re feeling disconnected from your partner, overwhelmed by life’s transitions, or stuck in patterns you can’t quite name, you’re not alone. I’m Angelique, a clinical social worker and trained in Emotionally Focused therapy, and I work with couples, individuals, and families to create a warm, supportive space where healing and connection can begin.
As a Montana native, I’m deeply rooted in the values of our southwest Montana communities, and I’m passionate about helping my clients feel seen, heard, and empowered — whether they’re navigating relationship struggles, grief, trauma, or major life changes.
My Approach: Emotionally Focused & Attachment-Based
My work is grounded in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), a powerful, research-supported model for helping couples and individuals better understand the emotions and attachment needs driving their struggles. Whether I’m working with partners feeling stuck in conflict, individuals processing loss or life transitions, or families working to strengthen their connection, I focus on helping you:
-
Identify and shift negative patterns keeping you stuck.
-
Understand your deeper needs for connection and safety.
-
Learn how to communicate with clarity, empathy, and vulnerability.
-
Rebuild a sense of security within yourself and your relationships.
I also draw from trauma-informed approaches, Gestalt techniques, and attachment theory, tailoring sessions to fit the unique needs of each client, couple, or family.

About Me
I was born and raised in southwest Montana, and my personal and professional journey has fueled my passion for supporting my community through therapy, advocacy, and connection to resources. After earning my Bachelor’s degree in Family and Consumer Science from Montana State University, I went on to complete my Master of Social Work at Walla Walla University in Billings.
Outside of the therapy room, I love spending quality time with my husband, children, grandchildren, and extended family. I’m happiest when I’m camping, riding motorcycles and side by sides, floating the river, or trying my hand at gardening. Though I’m an animal lover (especially dogs and pigs), my home is currently pet-free — but I always enjoy hearing about my clients’ furry family members.
