Emma Bernosky, Intern

Starting therapy can feel like standing at the edge of something both exciting and a little scary. I'm here to walk alongside you in creating a warm, safe haven where your story matters and where you'll never have to face your struggles alone. Seeking support isn't about being broken or weak—it's one of the most courageous and loving things you can do for yourself.

My Approach: Attachment-Based and Trauma Informed

I bring my whole heart into every session, approaching our work together with genuine warmth, deep empathy, and endless curiosity about who you are. I'm passionate about trauma-informed and attachment-based healing, and I'm currently diving deep into Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) techniques. Together, we'll create safety, gently explore what makes you vulnerable, and help you build the kind of connections that truly nourish your soul.

  • Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT, currently training)

  • Attachment-based healing approaches

  • Trauma-informed, gentle counseling

  • Client-centered therapy that honors your unique journey

About Me

I'm currently immersed in my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Antioch University, where I'm also earning my Trauma Counseling certificate. Though I started with a Bachelor's in Elementary Education from Montana State University, I discovered my heart truly belonged in supporting people's emotional journeys rather than classroom lesson plans.

I'm an introvert at heart who finds deep joy in quiet, meaningful moments. Summer days find me hiking the trails around Hyalite or peacefully paddleboarding on the water. When winter arrives, I love nothing more than curling up with my favorite cozy shows, a warm cup of something delicious, and a challenging puzzle. Year-round, my greatest happiness comes from time spent with my partner and my beloved rescue pup, Milo.
