A Note for Parents
Watching your child struggle can be heart-wrenching. You want to help—but sometimes, they need someone outside the family to talk to. We partner with families to support adolescents and young adults in a way that respects their independence while keeping parents informed and involved in the right ways. You can expect a thoughtful, developmentally informed approach that honors your child’s voice and fosters emotional growth, resilience, and healthy relationships.
*Please note that we ask for clients 10 and under, that their parent/guardian stay on the Little Bear Counseling premises for the entirety of the session. For clients 16 and under, parent presence is highly recommended but not mandatory expect for the first session where presence of the parent/guardian is required.
